Pray for peace and prosperity | A solemn opening of the Great Compassion Sweet Dew Dharma Assembly in the Chinese National Day holiday
At 8:00 a.m. of October 1st, 2017, the congregation assembled on the first floor of the Prajna building at Boshan Zhengjue Monastery and the Great Compassion Sweet Dew Dharma Assembly started. 摄影：吉秋 
The masters led believers to chant the Praise of Purification with Water and Willow together. Then the dharma host spoke the verse while holding a water pot. Following that, all the people recited the Great Compassion Mantra respectfully. While the dharma host held the willow and sprinkled the water all over the place, everyone was full of dharma joy, feeling peaceful and quiet. 
On October 4th, it will be the 2nd anniversary of the consecration of the whole monastery. It coincides with the Chinese National Day holiday, the mid-autumn festival and the birthday of Candraprabha. The Great Compassion Sweet Dew Dharma Assembly will be held for a period of seven days, the affinities is very special, with extraordinary significance.
“With willow twigs, may purifying water be sprinkled all over the three-fold thousands of worlds, may its emptiness and eight virtuous qualities benefit humans and heavenly beings, may bliss and longevity be abundant for all......”
“We pray that blessings, peace, and goodness, be and adornment to unsurpassed Bodhi. Vowing that all karmic creditors throughout the Dharma realm, will enter the sea of Vairocana’s nature together .”
The purpose of this Dharma assembly is to draw support from the willpower out of great compassion, the prestige and the magical power of Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva to world peace, national prosperity, good weather, harmonious society, happy and healthy people and blissful days.
May all the participants enjoy the freedom of no obstacles, tranquil state of body and mind, an increase in the level of wisdom and good fortune, early attainment of enlightenment!
The bodhisattva with his willow branch and sweet dew water, can make a single drop pervade the ten directions. Entirely washed away all defilement and foul odor…
